Jewellery Repair Workshop: Ring Re-Sizing
Prerequisite: Students must have enough jewellery making experience to be familiar with the basics, comfortable using workshop equipment, and aware of common safety procedures in the studio.
As friends and family discover that you’re building your skills as a jeweller, you will eventually be approached with repair requests. These requests can seem daunting at first, especially when they involve sentimental pieces (which is often the case!). Designed for our experienced students who have become familiar with the basics of jewellery making and are looking to advance their skills, this course will help you build the know-how and confidence to perform repairs safely.
This one-day class will introduce you to the following aspects of one of the most common jewellery repairs: ring sizing.
