Simple Open Locket Workshop – Jan 21 and 28
Simple Open Locket Workshop
Lockets are one of the most sentimental and personalized pieces of Jewellery that one can acquire. In just two days you can learn how to create a simple locket for yourself or as a gift for a loved one. This particular style of locket features a domed design with a “swinging hinge” system. In this weekend workshop students will learn techniques such as sawing, filing, sanding, annealing, doming, soldering, jump-ring making, polishing and finishing.
With small class sizes you will have the opportunity to have more one-on-one guidance allowing you to truly absorb the techniques being taught.
All of the materials and equipment are provided for this class and no experience is necessary. Please wear close toed shoes, comfortable clothes, your hair tied back and no scarves or lose clothing (such as long open sleeves that could propose a safety hazard).
