Keum-Boo is an Ancient Korean technique where 24K gold foil is bonded to silver by using heat and pressure. Keum-Boo provides a cost-effective way to incorporate gold into your jewellery pieces, resulting in elegantly beautiful work. Along with introducing students to the Keum-Boo process, this course will cover basic jewellery making skills and texturing possibilities. Students will create 2 jewellery pieces in sterling silver accented with gold foil and will be encouraged to find their own voice regarding their individual design ideas.
