So many essential jewellery-making techniques are learned in this course such as annealing, ring making, soldering, bezel making, filing, sanding, polishing, and stone setting. All of the materials and equipment are included in the course price as well as a selection of lab-created and cubic zirconia faceted gemstones for you to choose from. If you prefer, we will also have a selection of natural gemstones available at an extra charge.

West Coast Inspired Stacking Rings

Enjoy a day in the studio fabricating your West Coast-inspired stacking rings. Our class allows you to create your own one-of-a-kind mountain ring, and 2 square wire rings with a pine needle texture. Create unique textures on each ring with different techniques using several kinds of burrs on the flex shaft. This class will teach you the fundamentals of silversmithing, such as soldering, ring sizing, texturing and more, with a fun twist!" For those of you who have not participated in this class before, the free flow class is designed for our experienced students who have become familiar with the basics of jewellery making and are looking to advance their skills. How it works is you decide what you want to make and the instructor helps you bring your design to life. This way, you can learn specific processes that may not be currently offered in another course or your time in the Free Flow course could simply be guided studio time where an instructor is there to help you as needed.
